Obituary for Victoria Rand

Victoria Rand
Victoria P. Rand, 86, of Avalon Nursing Home, passed away the afternoon of June 14, 2017 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on August 25, 1930 in Bessemer, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Zorinich. Surviving is her beloved husband of 66 years, Robert Rand Sr., whom she married in 1950.

Victoria had worked for Rodgers Dairy Farm and Marie Eberth Caterers, and she retired from the housekeeping department for Jameson Hospital. Victoria enjoyed spending time cooking, baking, and shopping. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Victoria is survived by her children, Sharon Rand, Roberta Pannutti and husband James, Robert L. Rand Jr. and wife Kimberly, and Gary Rand of wife Rochelle, all of New Castle; brother, Milan Zorinich of California; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Tony, Stan, and John Zorinich, and sister, Ann McCarthy.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Blessing services will be held Saturday at 10:00am at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
